What Are Credly Digital Badges?
AAMFT has partnered with Credly to provide you with a digital version of your credentials. The Credly Digital badge is a web-enabled way for AAMFT Clinical Fellows and Approved Supervisors to share their professional achievements, experience and credentials to others. Representing your skills as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real time. In this digital age, this added benefit provides you with the flexibility to network with other professionals in the field. You can embed the badge on your email signatures, website and resumes and share in different social media platforms.
Certification badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of. Credly also offers labor market insights, based on your skills. You can search and apply for job opportunities right through the Acclaim platform.
Where can I find more information?
Earners can find more information on our website by hovering over the Build your Career tab and clicking on Certification Badges. From there, you can review information on benefits of the badge, how to claim your badge, sharing your credentials, applying for career opportunities and much more.
How do I claim my badge?
Under our ‘Certification Badge’ webpage, there is a link to the Credly Earners’ Guide that gives detailed information about claiming your badge. To start the claiming process, you need to create an account. To create an account, you need to log into the Credly website and follow the instructions provided.
Some important things to note:
>>For Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor designees to obtain their badge, they must create their own login through Credly, which is not the same as AAMFT’s login information.
>>The badge offered to our Clinical Fellows and Approved Supervisors is free of charge.
>>AAMFT designees can apply for jobs through the Credly platform. These jobs are tailored to the designees' qualifications or skills set.
>>Earners will receive an email from admin@credly.com to claim the badges.
>>Designees can share their badges directly through Credly to their platforms (social media or email).
