If you haven’t yet, you need to become an AAMFT Pre-Clinical Fellow or Clinical Fellow member. Student membership is only acceptable for students in COAMFTE accredited doctoral programs which have their supervision course pre-approved by AAMFT.
You also need to identify an Approved Supervisor with at least 120 hours of post designation supervision experience as defined in the handbook to serve as a supervisor mentor. In addition, you need to develop a plan for fulfilling the training requirements.
