We can adjust your membership to the correct category of Student if you are still enrolled in a graduate program and have not yet worked on accruing state licensure hours, and do not have any level of licensure. In order to adjust your membership category, we will need the following items to be sent to us so that we may process this request:
1) You will need to submit a completed Student Member application to central@aamft.org. Those PDF forms are located at the bottom of our Join page. We will refund the difference in dues to the credit card you used for your online payment for the incorrect category.
2) You will need to request an enrollment verification letter from either your program director or your school’s registrar office. We can also accept an unofficial transcript. This must be on school letterhead and indicate that you are currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
Once all items have been received, we will be able to process your Student application and update your membership information.
